The fast upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held in Russia. This will be the 21st edition of FIFA World Cup and it is the first time held in Europe. The period of 2018 World Cup tournament start from 14 June to 15 July 2018 in Russia.

Total of 32 teams have qualified to participate in 2018 World Cup. All teams had to go through qualifying competition except Russia who are host country will automatically be qualified team. Out of 32 teams, 20 of the qualified teams will appear according the previous tournament in 2014. In order to decide the champion of the FIFA World Cup, a total of 64 matches will be run.

Countries that appear for the first time in World Cup included Iceland and Panama. While Egypt, Morocco and Peru had finally come back after absence for FIFA World Cup for a very long period. FIFA World Cup’s fans can now grab the entry tickets started from 13 March to 3 April 2018 at . In case that you missed the chances, the last-minute sales phase will be held on 18 April to 15 July 2018. Tickets are now selling on a first come first serve basis. Huge amount of tickets has been distributed to fans around the world. Most of the tickets will be distributed to top ten countries such as Russian, USA, Argentina, Columbia, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Australia, Germany, China and India.

Excessive demand of the tickets from the fans around the world. According to the first and second sales phase, total 1,303,616 tickets has been allocated since the first sales period in September 2017. “The huge demand by both local and international fans highlights the great sense of anticipation and excitement that Russia 2018 is sparking around the world,” said FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura.
